Friday, August 27: Philly noise-pop quartet Arc In Round—led by local producer and Uniform Recording studio owner Jeff Zeigler—performs new tracks from its upcoming EP at Johnny Brenda’s (9 p.m., $10); Tre Orsi and Busses open. If you prefer your noise-rock less dreamy and more trashy, Pissed Jeans will be at Danger Danger Gallery with openers Unnatural Helpers and Hot Guts. Long Island post-hardcore quartet Envy On The Coast plays the first of three farewell shows this weekend before calling it quits at First Unitarian Church (7:30 p.m., $15); Terrible Things and Loyal Divide open. Touch And Go Fanzine co-founder Tesco Vee sign copies of Touch and Go—The Complete Hardcore Punk Zine ’79-’83 at Brickbat Books (7 p.m., free).

Saturday, August 28:The National Rifle celebrates the release of its latest EP, Vanity Press, with a performance alongside openers The New Connection and Goodnight Lights at Kung Fu Necktie (7:30 p.m., $10).

Sunday, August 29: Seattle folk duo The Dutchess And The Duke performs new songs from the upcoming Sunset/Sunrise—the follow-up to their well-received 2008 debut, She’s the Dutchess, He’s the Duke—withThe Mural & The Mint and Jesse Hale Moore at Johnny Brenda’s (9 p.m., $10). Meanwhile, Dr. Dog guitarist Scott McMicken opens for My Morning Jacket at Penn’s Landing (7:30 p.m., $39.50).
