The city of Philadelphia boos the world’s saddest, wimpiest wrecking ball

We know Philly residents will boo just about anything. But, still…wrecking balls? To be fair, it was a pretty pathetic display—quite possibly the most anti-climatic end imaginable for the Spectrum’s slow, painful death.

Pity the poor Spectrum: It went out not with a bang, not with a whimper, but to the mocking sounds of laughter.

we were laughing at the jerks that had the audacity to try to knock her down but still the mighty Spectrum held strong! HOW DARE THEY!

Must be getting paid by the hour!

ya got to love union labor…why do something efficiently when you have the government by the balls and can milk it for the next ten years.

It would be quicker to let the ocean erode from the coastline in to Philly, eventually consuming the Spectrum.
Why didn’t they implode it instead? Ticketmaster could have got in on it, I reckon.

  • Pidepipper

tie Dave Shultz on that ball he’ll kick the crap out off the wall

  • TylerC

Me and 3 of my friends with hammers could have done that faster….

I think they may have built quicker than they knocked it down…very anti climatic :(
