Self-explanatory: The Sky Drops release new single, “Explain It To Me”
Earlier this week, the members of the Wilmington, DE-based shoegaze duo The Sky Drops posted the first single off their upcoming EP to their website. The band describes “Explain It To Me,” as “[S]omething of an air of BRMC meets 60s Stones…a caustic romp in slithering fuzz pop.” We’d describe it is “Sounding a lot like pretty much every other The Sky Drops song we’ve heard.” Which is a good thing.
Unfortunately, The Sky Drops don’t have any shows in the area listed on their website; hopefully that will change sometime before the EP officially drops in Spring 2011.
