Exclusive: Download a new Hoots And Hellmouth song from the upcoming EP, Face First In The Dirt
Two days ago, we posted the track list and cover art of the new Hoots And Hellmouth EP, Face First In The Dirt—with the promise that we’d have a song or two on the site prior to the EP’s official release on March 15th. Well, we like to stay true to our word, so here it is: an exclusive track from Face First, “Picked By The Root” (posted below).
With boxes of the new EP packed up in their van, the members of Hoots And Hellmouth will head out of town tonight for a tour that kicks off Friday in Tampa, Florida. During the five-week tour, they’ll be making stops at SXSW in Austin and headlining the World Cafe Live At The Queen in Delaware on April 16th. As for recording, the band has been working on more songs at Miner Street here in Philly for a forthcoming full length album they’re hoping to release in three to five months.
