Tonight’s Concert Pick: Middle Brother + Dawes, Deer Tick at TLA

We’ve mentioned tonight’s show featuring the indie super-group Middle Brother a couple of times already, so we’re pretty sure it’s obvious that we’re excited about it. So let’s just skip to the chase, shall we? The band—which features Taylor Goldsmith of Dawes, John McCauley of Deer Tick, and Matthew Vasquez of Delta Spirit—is on tour in support of its recently released self-titled debut on Partisan Records. And, if seeing an much hyped trio featuring members of Dawes and Deer Tick just isn’t enough, well, you also get to see Dawes and Deer Tick in all of their full glory during their opening performances. Middle Brother performs with Dawes and Deer Tick at 8 p.m. at TLA; tickets to the show are $21.

Also playing: Ross Bellenoit + Lake Street Dive, Sisters 3 at Johnny Brenda’s (9 p.m., 21+, $10)
