New Jersey’s Real Estate signs to Domino, will kick off summer tour July 9th at Johnny Brenda’s

Earlier today, Real Estate announced a series of summer tour dates, beginning in Philly on July 9th at Johnny Brenda’s. The New Jersey band, known for its balmy, lo-fi surf-pop, has signed to Domino records for their sophomore album, which will follow its 2009’s self-titled debut. The new album is nearly complete, (though as yet unnamed), with a release date set for October. Domino will also handle the group’s two side projects, Ducktails and Alex Bleeker And The Freaks, led by Real Estate’s guitarist Matthew Mondanile and bassist Alex Bleeker respectively. —Kiley Bense
