The Sky Drops release new EP, Making Mountains

Today marks the release of the new EP from shoegaze-grunge twosome The Sky Drops. The Delaware-based duo’s latest, Making Mountains, provides five gaze-y, psych-inspired tracks. Their swelling, fuzz-filled sound comes from their dynamic guitar, drums, and vocals, and people have taken notice as they’ve opened for the likes of Cold War Kids and Dirty Projectors.

In celebration of the new EP, The Sky Drops are giving away their 2009 full-length Bourgeois Beat for free download on their BandCamp. Making Mountains is available for purchase via Custom Made Music, iTunes, or BandCamp. Below, listen to the opening track from the EP, “Explain it to Me.”
