2011 XPoNential Music Festival Local Spotlight: Deb Callahan

Philadelphia’s own Deb Callahan just wrapped up a great set at the Marina Stage. With an incredibly powerful and dynamic voice, Callahan’s vocal delivery evokes such blues legends as Billie Holiday and Aretha Franklin. Backed by bass, drums, and guitar, Deb Callahan’s brand of soulful blues proved to be extremely lively, passionate, and endearing. —Max Ufberg
