Queen Electric recently wrapped up its set at the Marina Stage, kicking things off on the second day of the XPonential Music Festival. Fronted by Scot Sax, formerly of the rock band Wanderlust, Queen Electric played a rousing set of old-school rock and roll. With the bluesy guitar, pulsing drums, and spidery bass lines, Queen Electric gave fans a reason to withstand the heat. —Max Ufberg

You can listen to the audio of the full performance here; videos can be found here.

Back in February, Queen Electric stepped in to play a Free At Noon concert at World Cafe Live after Nicole Atkins was forced to cancel her performance due to weather. You can listen to that performance here.
