2011 XPoNential Music Festival Local Spotlight: Jukebox The Ghost

By

The last local artist for this XPoNential was Jukebox The Ghost, a bouncy indie-pop trio whose infectious tunes have been on XPN’s rotation for some time. As David Dye put it while welcoming the band on the Marina, they gave the World Cafe one of our favorite sessions ever. Today they played from their 2010 release, letting their piano-filled quirkiness filter out across the festival grounds. —Bekah Larsen

You can listen to the audio of the full performance here; videos will be available soon. You can also listen to Mike Vasilikos’ interview with the band here.

Jukebox absolutely rocked today. It’s hard to choose a favorite act, but they were by far my favorite. Unbelievable performance, can’t wait to see them again.
