Watch tour-mates Jim James (lead singer of My Morning Jacket) and Neko Case duet at last night’s stop in Pittsburgh, via Stereogum. During the show’s encore, the capable pair covered “Islands In The Stream,” a song written by the Bee Gees and originally performed by Dolly Parton and Kenny Rodgers in 1983.

    I like how they kinda laugh when they first sing about making love together! ;) I can think of better duets for them to do… Maybe some Lee Hazelwood/Nancy Sinatra? Johnny Cash/June Carter?
