New Jersey wonk rock project Delicate Steve has just shared its latest, This Is Steve, and to celebrate, they’ve also dropped a new visual for album cut “Tomorrow.” It details a coast-to-coast journey on a segway by a polite-looking business boy–exactly what you’d expect from such a whimsical, sprawling track. If that wasn’t what you expected, you just don’t get it, man, but you can stream it below anyway.

As we’ve come to expect, Steve Marion’s singular, elastic leads are center stage here, and they match the clip’s serene, gorgeous landscapes pound for pound. “Tomorrow” rises and falls like the American landscape itself, and when we reach our destination, it rips a nasty solo. As our protagonist rides onto the beach and drives right into the ocean, I’m not like, “segways can’t drive on water” I’m like, “of course they can; that’s the majestic ending this song deserves.” It just makes sense.

If you want to catch Delicate Steve live, they’re playing Underground Arts on March 9th. For tickets and more information, head over to XPN’s Concert Calendar.
