Just Announced: The Dead Milkmen to perform a Free At Noon concert Friday, Dec. 23rd, at World Cafe Live

The Dead Milkmen recording a Key Studio Session in early 2010

Back in March, Philadelphia punk-rock icons The Dead Milkmen released The King In Yellow, the band’s first studio album in more than 15 years. Last weekend, the band held the official record-release party for the album at a sold-out show at Kung Fu Necktie. Of course, at such a small venue, tickets went fast. If you missed that show (or, even if you didn’t), you can see the band perform next Friday at noon at World Cafe Live; tickets are free, but you must RSVP here once tickets become available. Tickets to tomorrow’s Free At Noon doubleheader featuring J.C. Brooks And The Uptown Sound and Gary Clark Jr. are still available.

Below, you can listen to and download a pair of tracks from The Dead Milkmen’s Key Studio Session we recorded last year; you can get the entire session here. You can also watch a video from the band’s record-release show at Kung Fu Necktie (courtesy of YouTube user cmthomas81).
