Gods And Queens’ farewell show (scheduled for tonight at Kung Fu Necktie) has been CANCELED

Oof, that is rough. From the band’s Facebook page:

Tonight show at Kungfu Neck Tie has been canceled. No joke! The most absolute, perfectly fitting way for this band to end.

That’s that. Thank you very much for helping us see the entire world the past 3 1/2 years.

As the band members mentioned earlier this month, they’ve definitely had a tough run, including an “inability to keep a drummer, write new songs, and the constant string of bad luck.” (Not to mention the serious van wreck that happened last November while the band was touring throughout Eastern Europe—which left the vehicle totaled, the remainder of their tour canceled, and drummer Jeff Ziga’s collarbone broken in three places.) Here’s to hoping that their future musical projects have better luck than Gods And Queens did.
