Bold New Breed summer series launches Saturday at Ortlieb’s (starring Fabian Akilles, Dewey Decibel, Ricky Radio)

Saturday night marks the kickoff of the Bold New Breed Summer Series, a monthly party at the newly renovated Ortlieb’s Lounge in Northern Liberties showcasing the talent surrounding local label Bold New Breed Records.

This month’s show features sets from soulful acoustic songwriter Ricky Radio, reggae-tinged MC Fabian Akilles, and a set from label co-founder Dewey Decibel, a local rapper and visual artist, all backed by a full live band. Details can be found in the flyer to your left; the next two showcases happen on the first Saturdays of August and September.
