Kasey Anderson is not the type of guy to fade into the background, which he proudly proclaims in the song “Exit Ghost” off his full-length album, Heart of a Dog. Through his rollicking, soulful alt-country tunes and honest lyrics Anderson has garnered praise from music legends Steve Earle, Peter Case, and Adam Duritz of Counting Crows. Kasey Anderson and The Honkies are currently touring, and along with Counting Crows, will be playing at the Susquehanna Bank Center on Sunday, July 22nd for the XPoNential Music Festival. Duritz is such a fan that the Counting Crows cover Kasey’s song, “Like Teenage Gravity,” on their new album, Underwater Sunshine (listen to it below). 3-Day XPoNential Music Festival Passes include lawn admission to the Counting Crows show or you can buy a 3-Day Festival Pass that includes reserved seating to the show, both of which can be purchased here. Tickets to this show can also be purchased separately here.
