Black Prairie (featuring members of The Decemberists) playing MilkBoy in November

Black Prairie is the “acousticana” band founded by the Decemberists’ Chris Funk, Nate Query and Jenny Conlee, with founding member John Neufeld on guitar and Decemberists’ John Moen on drums. The band releases its second album, A Tear in the Eye Is a Wound in the Heart, on September 18th on Sugar Hill Records. The album was produced and engineered in Portland by Tucker Martine.
