Remember that time Pearl Jam dressed up as Devo at The Spectrum? (playing Made in America Festival this weekend)

Now, we’re not saying Pearl Jam is going to bust out the radiation suits and energy dome hats for their appearance at this weekend’s Made in America festival. We’re not even suggesting they should, but rather reminding you that Eddie Vedder and his bandmates are, above all else, massive music nerds who have rocked some pretty excellent cover versions of the years. Check out this video of them closing down The Spectrum with Devo’s “Whip It” the last time they visited Philadelphia (Halloween of 2009) and let us know what you’d like to hear them cover when they play the Parkway on Sunday.

Hoping for Crown of Thorns, Crazy Mary, Hard to Imagine, and All or None. In D.C., they played Man of the Hour and Masters of War a couple years ago. Also, awesome.
Whatever they pick for this special night, it will be good.
