Tonight’s Concert Picks: Peter Gabriel at Wells Fargo Center, Ben Howard at Union Transfer, Jill Sobule at Kennett Flash, Deb Callahan at Steel City

Genesis frontman Peter Gabriel continues his Back to Front tour tonight at the Wells Fargo Center. In celebration of its 25th anniversary, he’s be playing the album So in its entirety. Make sure to see the legend who skyrocketed singles such as “In Your Eyes” and “Solsbury Hill.” The show begins at 8 p.m., tickets and information are available here.

English singer-songwriter Ben Howard will play at Union Transfer tonight. His first studio album, Every Kingdom, was released in 2011 to critical acclaim. Howard recorded his own cover of Carly Rae Jepsen’s hit “Call Me Maybe” for the BBC earlier this summer, which can be viewed below. The all-ages show begins at 8 p.m., admission is $20, tickets and information can be found here.

Local R&B songbird Deb Callahan will perform tonight at Steel City Coffeehouse in Phoenixville. Callahan, who performed at WXPN’s XPoNential Music Festival in 2011, released Tell It Like It Is in November 2010, which debuted at #19 on the Living Blues Radio Chart. The all-ages show begins at 7 p.m., general admission is $14, seated tickets range from $21 to $27, tickets and information can be found here. Another show for those of you out in the ‘burbs: folk rock singer Jill Sobule will be performing at Kennett Flash this evening. Sobule, who released a collaborative album with John Doe entitled A Day at Pass in 2011, has enjoyed a career that was kickstarted with her 90s hit “I Kissed a Girl.” The all-ages show begins at 7 p.m., admission is $21, tickets and information can be found here.
