Lancaster County band The Districts recently earned the top prize at the Beta Hi Fi Emerging Music Festival at World Cafe Live at The Queen. This week they released an acoustic EP called While You Were in Honesdale and you can download it for free from their Bandcamp. Field Report entranced the audience at this year’s XPoNential Music Festival and recently released their self-titled debut full-length. Frontman Christopher Porterfield visited Folkadelphia in early 2011 when he was performing under the moniker Conrad Plymouth, and while in the studio Porterfield, along with keybordist Nick Berg and Strand of Oaks’ Tim Showalter, recorded a beautiful version of “Fergus Falls.” Download the track here and stream it below.
