Call it Band Name‘s endless summer. The Philly-based garage punks just a week ago released a zany, surreal music video for their recent single “King of Surfers.” Intercut with a montage of Daniel Johnston-style artwork by Band Name bandmates Jeremy Jams, Cat Park and Greg Labold is footage of the trio danncing in the surf of an empty beach, each wearing a giant papier-mâché eyeball on their head. They dance in circles, strike poses in the tide, attempt to body surf and completely wipe out, their ocular prosthetics remaining intact the entire time. Check out the video below, and catch Band Name next Friday, October 12th, at Kung Fu Necktie.
