Ride the magic bus with Southwork in the video for “My Demise”
This feels like something out of Hair, or maybe the last scene in The 40-Year-Old Virgin. Seven-piece Philadelphia retro-rockers Southwork are releasing their debut LP Arise on December 11, and we got a taste this week in the music video for “My Demise.” There’s definite notes of 13th Floor Elevators and The Who, but it’s hard to say if it’s in a serious sense or a Monkees-ish satirical sense. Either way, it’s a great tune. Check it out below, and pre-order the LP here.
