Local pop/punk quintet Kite Party stopped by the Daytrotter studios in Rock Island, Illinois while on tour with Glocca Morra over the summer. They recorded five tracks for the session, which Daytrotter members can download for free here. If you don’t have a Daytrotter membership, Kite Party are not leaving you empty-handed; head over to the band’s Bandcamp page and grab a free download of their first record, Hand Claps Music. Kite Party will play a show at The Fire on November 4th with Hop Along, The Sidekicks and Johnny Foreigner. Tickets are $10 for the 21+ show, and more information can be found here.
