Just Announced: Mumford and Sons coming to Philly (playing Susquehanna Bank Center on 2/16)

English folk revivalists and XPN favorites Mumford and Sons revealed its first Philadelphia stop since they performed at our World Cafe 20th Anniversary Concert today. They will be playing The Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden on Saturday, February 16; onsale is TBA. The band recently released a video for the second single from its sophomore album Babel; watch “Lover of the Light” below, and listen to Mumford’s recent World Cafe Session here (via the WXPN media player). UPDATE: Tickets will go on sale this Friday, November 9, at 10 a.m. via Live Nation; tickets are $62.99 including fees.

    Isn’t The Susquehanna Bank Center an outdoor amphitheater/indoor theater complex? February in Philly on the water sounds COLD. Hard core. Do they have the capabilities to enclose the theater?

      Petey – yes, SBC shows during the winter months are “in the shed” only. I saw Gorillaz there a couple winters ago and it was toasty warm.
