On Saturday, December 1st, Temple University for ALS will hold a benefit concert to raise funds for the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the ALS Association.  The charity event will have raffles, silent auctions and 50/50 tickets and will feature performances by top-notch local musicians including Hezekiah Jones, Reverend TJ McGlinchey and The Griz Band.

Temple University for ALS is a partnership between students and the ALS Association working to raise awareness of ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease.  In their effort to raise awareness of ALS and help those suffering from the disease, the student group raised $725 for the Walk to Defeat ALS at Citizen’s Bank Park earlier this month.

The benefit concert will take place at The Palombaro Club in Ardmore, PA at 7:00 p.m.  Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door and the event is open to all-ages, with a cash bar for those over 21.  More information can be found here.  Watch Hezekiah Jones’ Shaking Through episode and check out the full benefit concert line-up below.
