Parquet Courts announce tour, playing Kung Fu Necktie in January (download a free song)

Brooklyn’s Parquet Courts have announced a Winter tour with a stop at Kung Fu Necktie on Thursday, January 10th. The band is out on tour in support of their incredible new album Light Up Gold. Parquet Courts debuted with a cassette only release called American Specialties last year. Fronted by singer and guitarist Andrew Savage, (formerly of Fergus & Geronimo and Teenage Cool Kids) and singer, guitarist and co-lyricist Aaron Brown, the quartet is a must discover for those of you who are fans of Pavement, The Fall, The Minutemen, Guided By Voices and Dire Straits.
