Just Announced: Jamie Lidell playing Union Transfer in April
FILED UNDER: Artists, Concert Previews, Events, News, Recordings, Jamie Lidell, Union Transfer
UK soul man Jamie Lidell is back with a new album, his eponymously-titled sixth release, coming out on Warp Records in February. He hits the road shortly after, and if you’ve never seen this guy live, we highly recommend it – he burns up the stage big time. When Compass was released in 2010, he turned in an impressive set on the stage at World Cafe Live; this time, he’s at Union Transfer on April 14. Onsale information will be announced shortly. Below, listen to the bass-heavy bump of “What a Shame” from Jamie Lidell, out on February 19.
