Stream a new Southwork track, “Trapped” (playing Johnny Brenda’s on 12/13)
This morning The Swollen Fox shared the groovy single “Trapped,” from Southwork‘s upcoming debut, Arise, which drops December 11. Southwork, the seven-piece collaboration led by former Fat City Reprise member Mike Vivas and Distant Orange brothers Al and Joe Smith, comes as something of a throwback to ’70s rock / ska pioneers with an anthemic vibe that’s hard to ignore. Check out the single here, and see Southwork perform at Johnny Brenda’s on December 13; tickets for the 21+ show can be found here.
