It’s still the season of giving and what could be better than giving back with the gift of music? Tonight the Tin Angel is hosting a showcase to benefit the Hurricane Sandy victims of Union Beach. The line-up features a myriad of local performers like Foxhound, The Doublewides, Suzie Brown, Joey Sweeney as well as other surprise acts. Performances tonight kick off at 8; tickets for the 21+ show can be found on our concert calendar here. Below, watch a video of Foxhound performing at Studio 34 recently.
Delaware-via-Brooklyn trio The Spring Standards are playing tonight at Arden Gild Hall. The band, who originally started performing together as high school students in the tri-state area, reunited after all moving to New York in their twenties only to hone their unique oldies rock/pop-meets-folk sound. Their unconventional style was mirrored by their decision to release a double EP this year instead of a full-length album. The collection, Yellow/Gold, was released in May before their tour with The Serial Lady Killers this past summer. Tickets for tonight’s show are available here; check out their video for “Here We Go ” from Yellow/Gold below.Arden Gild Hall, Foxhound, Hurricane Sandy Benefit, Joey Sweeney, Suzie Brown, The Doublewides, The Spring Standards, The Tin Angel
