Just Announced: Wake Owl is playing the First Unitarian Side Chapel on 2/23
FILED UNDER: Artists, Concert Previews, Events, News, Recordings, First Unitarian Church, Wake Owl
Haunting new-folk act Wake Owl just announced a spring tour that brings it to the cozy side chapel of the First Unitarian Church on February 23. The Vancouver four-piece explores contemporary country-informed tones in the same vein as Field Report and Red House Painters, but with a sharp pop sensibility – they can be introspective and tender as easily as they can be rousing. Take a listen to “Gold” below and let the handclaps on the refrain carry you away. The all-ages show goes on sale this Friday at noon – tickets and information can be found here.
