London-based Daughter have announced a U.S. tour for the Spring that will bring them to the First Unitarian Church on Friday, May 3rd. The 4AD / Glassnote-signed folk / rock trio, led by the soft-spoken and immediately charming Elena Tonra, just completed its first full-length record titled If You Leave, mastered at Abbey Road Studios and scheduled for release on April 30th in the U.S (go here for the full track-listing). The subsequent headlining tour of the States will follow on the heels of an already-sold out run through the U.K. More information for the Philadelphia date can be found here; tickets go on sale this Friday, January 18th. Below, stream “Smother” from the upcoming LP.
