Dublin’s Little Green Cars are coming State-side for SXSW in March and have scheduled surrounding dates for other cities, bringing them through Philadelphia for a show at Johnny Brenda’s on Thursday, March 21st. The buzzing indie pop five-piece spent the summer recording their debut effort Absolute Zero with producer Markus Dravs (Bjork, Coldplay), set for release via Glassnote on March 26th in North America. On lead single “The John Wayne,” Little Green Cars echo Arcade Fire with a heavy, building beat but keep the mood light with heartfelt and quirky lyrics. Tickets and information for their 21+ show with Dan Croll can be found here. Watch the video for “The John Wayne” below.
