Scot Sax wants to be your DJ; listen to “Vitamin FM”

Singer-songwriter and rock & roller Scot Sax wants to be your DJ. When it comes to the details of music history, Sax borders on geekiness with his vast knowledge and attention to detail about music. The Grammy winning songwriter and songwriting teacher at University of the Arts, is now trying his hand at being a DJ with the “Vitamin FM” podcast that you can download below. For the first episode of the podcast, Sax says he “snuck into the DJ booth and took a swan dive into the very heart of what I love the most: songs.” You’ll hear a wide range of artists including the Beach Boys, Isaac Hayes, Mike Bloomfield/Al Kooper and Simon and Garfunkel (and some folks you may never have heard of) in his first installment of Vitamin FM.
