For the first time since 1997, the legendary Redd Kross are touring and playing Kung Fu Necktie on Sunday. April 7th. The power pop/rock band formed by brothers Jeff and Steve McDonald in the late Seventies, and their first few albums – Born Innocent, Neurotica, and Third Eye – remain classics of the genre. Last year, they released Researching The Blues, the band’s first record in fifteen years on Merge Records. In the little known facts department, Jeff McDonald produced fun.’s debut album, Aim and Ignite, and performed on the Tenacious Ddebut album. Below, watch the video for “Annie’s Gone,” which was a “modern rock” hit in 1990.
