Submissions now open for The Philadelphia Songwriters Project Contest

Calling all local songwriters: the Philadelphia Songwriters Project has opened the submission doors for its 2013 contest.  Celebrating its 10th year, PSP welcomes creative entries from all genres of Philadelphia songwriters.  In addition to the general contest, this is the inaugural year for the Young Songwriter Category, allowing budding musicians ages 9-15 to participate in the showcase.  Contestants will be entered to win a number of prizes including slots at the Bethlehem Music Festival and an opening gig at the Sellersville Theater.

Entries will be judged by a panel of local industry members including Pete Donnelly, Andrew Lipke, Jesse Lundy, Glenn Barrett and more. The contest closes on March 26th, with finalists being announced on April 23rd.  To enter, and for more information, visit the Philly Songwriters website here.
