Listen to Surfer Blood’s new “Demon Dance” (playing the Electric Factory on 5/4)
FILED UNDER: Artists, Concert Previews, Events, News, Recordings, Electric Factory, Surfer Blood
The new single from West Palm Beach five-piece Surfer Blood is a little bit of Superchunk crunch, a little bit of Jukebox the Ghost pop, with some autotune (T-Pain?) thrown in for good measure. “Demon Dance” premiered today on NPR’s All Songs Considered; you can listen it to below, and get a free download when you pre-order the band’s new LP Pythons, due out on June 11th on Warner Brothers. The band is on tour with Foals, and swings through Philly on May 4th for a date at The Electric Factory. Tickets and information on that show can be found at the WXPN Concert Calendar.
