Who is k.s. Rhoads?. He’s a singer. He’s a songwriter. He’s a producer and multi-instrumentalist based in Nashville. He’s a man of many musical hats, a connector and collaborator with some of Nashville’s finest musicians. Sometimes even the guys behind the scenes need to step out on their own, as Rhoads has done with his new album The Wilderness out today. It’s been five years since Rhoads released his debut album. In 2012, Rhoads won the prestigious ASCAP Foundation Sammy Cahn award, joining a group of some of our favorite songwriters including John Mayer, Josh Ritter, Katie Herzig and Philly’s very own John Francis. The Wilderness is a excellently crafted record anchored by the driving “Orphaned” that you can download below.
