Wander to the shore in Brendan Codey’s new music video for “Twin Chimney”

Here’s a cool, stylized and mysterious music video for Brendan Codey‘s “Twin Chimney,” the title track from his newly released EP on Marmara Records. Done up to look like it was shot on 8 mm film (unless director Zach Mami found somewhere that still sells and develops Kodachrome), it follows a mysterious character lugging a trash bag through a sun-stained beach town. He makes his way to the shore to discard it, carrying an evident tonnage of backstory / frontstory that we’re not privy to. What’s he carrying? Why is he so relieved to let it go? These questions are not immediately answered, and that’s why I like this video so much. Check it out below.
