Nashville singer-songwriter Caitlin Rose got back from an overseas tour just in time to release her sophomore record The Stand In via ATO last week. Carrying the torch from her 2011 debut, The Stand In showcases Rose’s knack for writing personal, confessional style songs that are catchy and relateable, highlighting the melting pot of genres in the Nashville music scene. Lead single “I Was Cruel” was featured as a My Morning Download in January (grab a copy here). Tickets and information for Caitlin Rose’s 21+ show with Andrew Combs and August John Lutz II at MilkBoy can be found here. Watch Rose perform “Only a Clown” live in Bristol, UK below.
