A handful of local projects, including Ape School and King Britt (along with national acts Benoît Pioulard and Lymbyc System) contributed reworkings to the collection. Local producer Dumhi teamed up with emerging rapper Side Effect for the latest Gentleman / Classic EP. The collaborators paired beats from Fela Kuti songs with Side Effect’s rhymes. Stream it below and download the full EP via Bandcamp here.

Changing things up from his solo on-air appearance last October, Christopher Bohn brought a full band along to back up the four tracks he performed for this round. Canadian-born singer-songwriter Anjuli Josephine brought her quirky indie pop to this week’s Key Studio Session. Josephine focused on tracks from her debut self-titled EP, which finds her fitting in with the likes of Ingrid Michaelson and Fiona Apple.
