Premiere: Commonwealth Choir’s “Rest” (playing tonight at Ortlieb’s)
Indie-rock/America outfit Commonwealth Choir are relatively new Philly locals with a vibrant vibe. Hailing from Doylestown, PA, they just finished recording their first self-recorded and self-produced release, the Shirtless EP, which is due out in June.
Their first single, “Rest,” has a both soothing and energetic sound. It’s perfect for the summer – check it out below, along with the rest of their local tour dates after the jump. They’re playing at Ortlieb’s Lounge tonight, with Looseleaf Trio, so make sure to catch a show with them soon.
