Hotly tipped UK act Peace make their Philadelphia debut at Johnny Brenda’s on June 10th. The young four-piece from Birmingham won over the likes of NME, BBC and The Guardian last year with their fun, psych rock-y Delicious EP, being named “the future of Indie” by The Guardian and nominated for the BBC Sound of 2013 poll. Peace are now touring behind their recent full-length Love Now, showcasing a WU LYF-esque penchant for tribal grooves and kaleidoscopic arrangements that are a perfect way to kick-off summer.
We have a pair of tickets to give away for their June 10th show with Weekender and Team Spirit at Johnny Brenda’s. Leave a comment below with a summer activity that would be well accompanied by the sounds of Peace (hammock-ing, eating watermelon, etc.). Make sure to include your full name and an email address with the comment so we can contact you if you win (email address will not be made public). Tickets and information for the 21+ show are available here. Watch their video for “Bloodshake” below.
