Philadelphia singer-songwriter Ginger Coyle will be singing God Bless America at the 7th inning stretch of the Phillies game today at Citizens Bank Park. The soulful, folksy pop singer released her first album of original songs, Homeward Bound, about a year ago, but she’s been in the music industry for over a decade.

And while baseball is the American past time, Folk is basically a Philly past time. Luckily for those of us who don’t understand baseball, Coyle is also performing a show at the Philly Folk Fest on June 17th on the XPN Philly Local Stage. She will be a part of XPN’s Local Showcase at the Camp Stage, from 11am-3pm.

Coyle is currently working on a Kickstarter campaign to fund her first full-length album. Check out her tune “Moon and Back” below.
