Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros photo by Laure Vincent Bouleau Although they just released their sophomore album last summer, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros have been busy making a self-titled album, set for release July 23rd.  The first single, “Better Days” is an incredibly positive song about good days that have come and gone and good days still to come.  It’s got that same energetic large-band sound we’ve come to know and love from the group, but with a little bit more of a soulful (and rocking) sound than on their previous efforts. Today, the group released the nostalgic music video for “Better Days” with nods to the movies of days gone by with clips from Paris Is Burning, Breakin’ 2: Electric Boogaloo, Beat Street and an incredible flashback at the end of the video of Detroit dance music show legend Nat Morris. If this song didn’t already make you want to get up and dance, it certainly will now. Check out the song below and be sure to catch the band at this years Xponential Music Festival.
