Rosu Lup may have an unusual name, but it does nothing to detract from their gorgeous new EP, Currents. It’s only two songs, “Pine” and “Dust & Days,” but each has such impact that the EP feels complete. Both start as delicate folk ballads of whispered lyrics and gentle bass drum but quickly grow into powerful songs that lead the listener on a journey through pine-filled woods and barren lands filled with banjos and soaring harmonies. In July, the folk quartet plays a record release show at The Fire. Listen to the EP below, and be sure to catch them live July 13th.
