They may not have played together since 2003, but this year The Postal Service – the one-off project of Death Cab for Cutie’s Ben Gibbard and Dntel’s Jimmy Tamborello – have reunited for a large tour, including a stop at The Mann Center.  Tonight, you can hear the stunning electronic pop group play songs from their amazing (and only) album Give Up.  With such a great headliner and Ra Ra Riot as the opening band, this is a show you really don’t want to miss.  Click here for more information and tickets.

If you’re feeling old-school tonight, then Ian McLagan has you covered.  The legendary keyboardist has played with The Small Faces, The Faces, The Rolling Stones and many others in his decades spanning career.  He’s even been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.  Tonight, he’s playing a solo show at the Tin Angel.  For tickets and more information about this legendary rocker, click here.

Black Flag, also plays Philly tonight along with openers Good For You and True Love.  America’s first hardcore punk band have reunited for a US tour as well as a new album.  Tonight at Union Transfer, they’re going to crank up the volume and rock with an energy they haven’t lost since they formed in the 70s.  For more information, click here and check out the music video to their new single “The Chase” below.
