Indie prog rock crew The Dear Hunter are returning to Philly this fall along with a live string quartet. The show at Union Transfer will be one of seven of these special concerts across the country; according to R5’s event page, the show will be seated as to put more focus on the “orchestral side of the band.” The band released their last album, Migrant, a more standalone work that shows a break from their previous “story arc” records. By buying tickets to the show, fans will also be able to download The Migrations Annex EP (outtakes from Migrant). Tickets go on sale Friday, June 28th at noon. More information can be found here. Below, listen to their track “Whisper.”
