Local hip-hop MC Dice Raw has released a new single off of his upcoming Jimmy’s Back LP, set for release on August 4th.  “Animal” is a social commentary track about racial profiling in the style of a stream-of-consciousness theatrical monologue while the record itself is a concept album based on NYT bestseller The New Jim Crow by Michelle Alexander and explores mass incarceration.  Stream and download “Animal” below and see Dice Raw perform live at the City Hall Courtyard on August 7th.  Tickets and information can be found here.
