Local show curators Parts Philly announce new label, kick things off with “Self-Propelled Organism” by Mohican (playing Underground Arts tomorrow night)

Parts Philly, a local booking group that works shows at Kung Fu Necktie and Underground Arts, has announced that it will now also work as a record label for Philadelphia-based bands.  The new venture begins today with the release of “Self-Propelled Organism” by instrumental quartet Mohican.  From the guys at Parts Philly:

We’re really excited to put this out, [we’ve] been big fans of Mohican since catching them at house shows.  We want to use Parts Philly as a jump-off label for local bands, help support what we’re seeing live & spread the word about the killer music coming out of this city.
