Plow United will be playing at Atlantic City venue The Boneyard tonight. After looking like they might never come back to the stage, the thrashcore pop-punk band made an unexpected return and proudly released their new album, Marching Band, last April. The 60s-esque psychedelic / prog band Mock Suns will share the stage with the Gems and Indians tonight at Johnny Brenda’s. A few days ago, the playful trio announced a small contest to guess what never-before-played cover they will be perform tonight. Four days into their “Vacation Tour” and Cheap Girls will play at the North Star Bar tonight with The Draft and Luther. Lucy Stone will grace the stage at MilkBoy tonight. With a delicate, rich voice and intricate lyrics, the folk inspired songstress has kept herself busy opening for various national acts, working and touring with Rusted Root, and releasing her own EPs. Acres of Diamonds will be performing at PhilaMOCA tonight. After losing a member, the post-punk inspired band took the bull by the horns releasing their EP, Animal Trust, earlier this year. Now aiming to digitally release three songs every six months, Acres of Diamonds will joined tonight by the penetrating, down-to-earth voice of Joey Sweeney. Bringing their American pop-rock groove to Philly, The Monkees will be playing tonight at the Mann Center for their “A Midsummer’s Night With The Monkees” tour.
